The murals designed for Heartlands High School are now complete and look great on the walls of the school. Specially made using durable materials such as vinyl and metal, hopefully these will be around for a long time!

Heartlands will soon be releasing a video about the project, which was run in coordination with the Sorrell foundation and London College of Communication. In the meantime, you can read a bit more about the project here.

Creative Collaboration

For my final major project I hope to find new ways for students and graduates to gain entry into their industry of choice through networking and collaborating with their peers. It is important to find out how students/graduates/employees in creative fields collaborate on projects and how useful it is so I am conducting a survey. Please follow the link below – the survey should not take more than 5 minutes of your time and would be really helpful for this project.

Thank you!

Anna

P.S. Please forward to your creative friends; the more responses, the cooler the outcome (and more relevant to you, hopefully :))!

Research into Typographic Design for Young People

Final research report documenting the findings of the Research into Typographic Design project.

My final outcome for the Package Your Personality project. The group’s efforts can be appreciated on the I Know a Guy blog and my own development for this project can be seen on this page.

And here it is! Our “Package your Personality” Final Outcomes. We’re excited for the various styles of packaging shown, demonstrating our individual skills that make I Know a Guy.

We love the use of colour that is apparent in our products giving everything a casual look about it, yet the contrasting formal look present in the watch box adds a new perspective to the group assignment.

This project was an enjoyable challenge that we used effectively to reflect on the characteristics we each have.

Alright self indulgence over, lets go to the pub!

We got bored waiting for university to start so we entered a competition by Unify: http://www.unify-shop.com/design_competition/

The final photo visualizes how people willingly undergo clinical transmogrification in an attempt to physically or mentally modify themselves; leaving behind their inner beauty for an outer beast. People everywhere go through grotesque procedures and end up transforming themselves into a living parody of the human form.
Beauty and hideousness become one another on the operating table.

Check the Transmogrification section for some great pictures of our very own Anna going under the knife.

Package your personality

We at I know a guy are made up of a cluster of personality flaws and restraining orders, and like everyone else we have brands that we associate ourselves with, but Starbucks, Nike and Apple don’t exactly reflect our individual personalities.

So for you to know a guy we’re going to put elements of our personalities in some neat little packages too amazing to exist in the real world.
Keep an eye on the blog to see our work in progress and the final result.
