Some of the products from the Newby Teas pyramid infuser range, including catering pouches and teabag packs. It’s nice to be able to see how they all look together and evaluate them as a range.

I love what the new Stevenson Crescent Tenants & Residents Association are doing for the area where I lived for 20 years. Lots of positive community action! I previously put together their invites and posters for their Jubilee craft day and street party, and am now doing their logo too. Hopefully it will help to portray a professional yet open and accesible image, and encourages other people to join in their community to make a difference. There may be some work on an icon in the future.
Here are some more of the murals designed for Heartlands High School. Each house had its own constellation, associated animal and colour. The different floors of the school were colour coded for each house and now have graphics to strengthen the identities of the groups. The students are very proud of their houses and should be really proud of their participation in this collaboration. I know I am :)
New pyramid infuser range for Newby teas - yummy colours and minimal style, and the tea is pretty good too! We’re still working on the catering pouches but stay tuned…
Heartlands High School House Branding Project
Myself and a group of students from London College of Communication worked with pupils from Heartlands High School in Haringey to brand the five houses that make up their school. The document above shows our work towards the final concept, which we presented to pupils, teachers, architects and construction staff (click the little square for a fullscreen view). The school is still under construction, and final outcomes will be revealed at the official school opening in September 2011.

Facebook have disabled me for posting naughty artworks. Sad face.
Sorry to anyone who has tried to reply to my fb message regarding the Research into Typographic Design project. You can still contact me at a_magombe@hotmail.com.
For those that don’t know, I am currently conducting research into typographic design for children and young people with low reading ages to find out how this affects their motivation to learn and reading ability. I am hoping that the outcomes of the research can be used to help teaching and learning support staff make more informed choices about books, reading materials and websites that will most effectively increase literacy development in young people.
Please get in touch if you or anyone you know works with children or young people - I need as many people as possible to complete my online survey. There are also font readability tests and surveys that need to be carried out in schools. Let me know if you can help me organise this, it’s really important! Thanks to those that have already helped; the more contributors there are, the more representative the sample, and more useful the result.
Profile Wines - work in progress
Still working on some of these images and stuff but the logo and favicon look ok i think? The white text not working that great on all the images - suggestions are welcome!
My final outcome for the Package Your Personality project. The group’s efforts can be appreciated on the I Know a Guy blog and my own development for this project can be seen on this page.
